Flatland Minerals
Flatland Minerals is a mineral and royalty company funded by private investors and its principals. Founded in 2015, Flatland entities and principals own and manage oil and gas interests in over 4,000 wells across ten states.
We have a team of professionals in place to evaluate and seamlessly close on the purchase of your mineral and royalty interests. We acquire properties of all sizes and are open to purchasing all, or just a portion, of your producing or non-producing minerals.
Flatland Minerals primarily invests in the following areas: Permian Basin (Midland Basin, Delaware Basin), Haynesville, Eagle Ford and DJ Basin.

Dane Hardy
Dane has been in the oil and gas business for 15 years. In 2007, He began his career as an independent Landman and oil and gas title attorney. He has been investing in mineral and royalty interests since 2009. Dane is an active manager of tens of thousands of acres and serves on the Board of Flatland Mineral Fund, LP, Flatland Mineral Fund II, LP and Flatland Mineral Fund III, LP. Dane received his BBA in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University and his JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. He resides in Dallas with his wife and three children.
Ross Nobles
Ross has been in the oil and gas business for over 20 years. A Midland native, he began his career as a drilling fluid salesman in the Permian Basin. Ross worked his way through law school as a Landman and has been acquiring leasehold and mineral interests ever since. Ross is an active manager of tens of thousands of acres. Ross serves on the Board of Flatland Mineral Fund, LP, Flatland Mineral Fund II, LP, and Flatland Mineral Fund III, LLP. Ross received his BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University and his JD from Southern Methodist University School of Law. He resides in Dallas with his wife and three children.
King Crow
King A. Crow has spent 40 years in banking and private equity and debt finance with focus in the real estate and energy fields. He began his career as an asset manager and analyst with JMI, a newly-formed Mortgage REIT in Dallas, TX. He subsequently managed the commercial real estate finance divisions for First Federal Savings & Loan and First Commercial Bank before forming Crow Mortgage Company, a mortgage broker and real estate development company operating in the Southwest with offices in Dallas Texas and Little Rock, AR. King also served as Chairman of the Board and principle stock holder of Arkansas Federal Bank and as partner in a highly profitable software startup venture, Univest, which was the first fully browser based commercial real estate servicing software company. Univest served the CNBS industry and was purchased in 2000 by Midland Loan Servicing.
Since 2000, King has served as principal partner of Crow Financial Partners (CFP), providing over one billion dollars of debt and equity financing for real estate, private equity ventures and energy funds including five mineral funds and serves on the Board of Carrollton Mineral Partners II, Centennial Minerals Holdings, Appalachian Basin Minerals, LP and Flatland Mineral Fund, LP.
King attended college at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, American College in Paris, France, London School of Economics, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics.
Barry Bradford
Barry has 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. His first company, Crossland Oil & Gas, was started in 1991 and is still in business today. From 1993 to 2006 he served in business development roles simultaneously for David H. Arrington Oil & Gas and Five States Energy, where he collaborated to buy proved producing properties and participated in the drilling of prospects throughout Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas. After his tenure with Arrington and Five States Energy, Barry put together a technical team to create Novus Exploration, LLC, an exploration and production company, backed by Tenaska Capital Management, where he served as Vice President of Business Development. Novus drilled twenty horizontal Marcellus wells in West Virginia and Pennsylvania and when they exited, in 2012, Novus was producing 50 MMcf/d. Since that time, Barry has served as a principal partner and business development role for Foreland Resources, LLC, a Permian Basin exploration company and serves on the Board of Flatland Mineral Fund, LP, Flatland Mineral Fund II, LP and Flatland Mineral Fund III, LP. He received his BS in Architecture from UT Arlington. He resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.
Peter Crow
Peter Crow has 15 years of experience in real estate, banking and private equity finance with focus on real estate and energy. Following his graduation from The University of Texas in Austin in 2001, Peter worked for Spaulding and Slye Colliers International in Washington D.C. He moved to Dallas in 2003 to work with KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a portfolio manager. In 2005, he joined Crow Financial Partners providing debt and equity financing for real estate, private equity and oil and gas initiatives. Peter serves as partner and CFO for Crow Financial Partners, Vice President of Finance & Administration and partner of Centennial Mineral Holdings and he currently manages five energy funds – Partnership Minerals I & II, Centennial Mineral Holdings, Appalachian Basin Minerals, LP and Flatland Mineral Fund, LP. He also was the CFO of Foreland Resources, LLC, a Dallas based, private equity financed, E&P company actively drilling in the Permian Basin.
Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
